Job Description
We are seeking a Pod Washer to join our team! To excel in this position, you must be able to multitask, communicate well with others, and be very organized in tasks. The ideal candidate needs to be very goal orientated and willing to work at a very fast pace while maintaining the quality and accuracy set forth in the job expectations.
Essential Duties;
* Will perform all aspects of pod washing, checking water levels, filters, and soap levels of the machine before the wash process begins.
* Labels, excess fluids, and debris will be removed from each container prior to the wash process.
* Containers will be placed, one at a time, onto the belt of a pass-through washer and removed as they come out the other end.
* This position may perform other duties as assigned or fill in for others in the department or other departments as needed or requested.
* May train or instruct fellow workers regarding job duties.

Requirements
Education: Ability to read and write. (Verified through the employment process)
Experience/ Skills: May be required to become qualified through a forklift certification program.
Equipment Used: Pass through the washer, forklift, gauges, and wastewater pump.
Safety/ Safety of Others: Must wear all company required personal protective equipment in required areas. Care necessary to avoid placing self and others in an unsafe environment.
Quality of Work: Provide quality products and services to meet the needs of both internal and external customers. Quality of work impacts succeeding operations.
Physical Demand: Requires continuous physical effort: repetitive motion work. Standing 80%, Walking 20%, Lifts, pushes, and pulls an average of 40lbs. Occasionally.
Work Environment: Exposures to atmospheric conditions, such as dust, fumes, varying temperature extremes. Exposure to noise and various chemicals.

• On December 22, 2015, LKQ announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the holding company of Rhiag-Inter Auto Parts Italia
• S.p.A (“Rhiag”), a leading pan-European business-to-business distributor of aftermarket spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Rhiag has operations in Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland and Spain. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2016 and is subject to customary closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals.
