As a part of our continued growth we are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Crush Crew Worker. We are seeking candidates who are extremely motivated and have basic mechanical abilities and automotive knowledge. The Crush Crew is responsible for preparing vehicles for crushing into scrap metal within the suggested time constraints in a safely and conscious manner. This may entail removing wiring harnesses, radiators, starters condensers hoses aluminum wheels or any other metal not removed by mechanized puller. The candidate selected for this position must have the ability to work closely and in concert with others to maximize production. Essential Job Duties

* Prepare vehicles for crushing into scrap metal within the suggested time constraints in a safely and conscious manner
* This may entail removing wire harnesses, radiators, starters, condensers, hoses, aluminum wheels or any other metal not removed by the mechanized puller
* Ability to work closely and in concert with others to maximize production
* Assist in the vehicle crushing operation
* Must display a positive and friendly attitude as well as appropriate behavior during work hours
* Cleanliness must be maintained in the work area
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Basic Qualifications (Minimum Required Experience, Education, Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Essential Physical Demands):

Ability To: Work closely with Loader Operator to maximize processing of vehicles to be crushed, safely & efficiently. Experience: Must have some hands-on automotive repair experience.

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Basic knowledge of crusher operation; ability to safely remove fuel tanks, wire harnesses and auto part cores

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently. Subject to intense physical labor and repetitive lifting. Must be able to lift at least 75lbs. Must be able to work outside in various types of weather. Works with hydraulic oils, motor oils, antifreeze, and diesel fuels.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous salvage operation employment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, as well as an office environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels and occasional inclement driving conditions.

•  S.p.A (“Rhiag”), a leading pan-European business-to-business distributor of aftermarket spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Rhiag has operations in Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland and Spain. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2016 and is subject to customary closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals.
