The clinical dietitian develops nutrition care plans by assessing, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and documenting care in the patients electronic health record. She/he acts as a resource for nutrition expertise and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient care needs. The clinical dietitian demonstrates knowledge of current medical nutrition therapy (MNT), current principles of nutrition support, nutrition counseling skills, and education and presentation skills. The ideal candidate has strong time management skills, good critical thinking ability and the capability to work independently and collaboratively.
Job Requirements

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in Dietetics or anequivalent field. The candidate isregistered (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and Certified (CD)by the State of Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing.

Registrationthrough the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required within 3 months ofhire

Certificationas a dietitian (state of WI requirement) is required within 6 months of hire

The clinical dietitian participates in arequired rotation for weekend and holiday coverage.
