SageWest Health Care
The Cath Lab Radiology Technologist performs various cardiovascular/vascular procedures including but not limited to monitoring of diagnostic and interventional procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Operates specialized equipment for use in diagnostic and vascular test; and therapeutic interventions performed in the Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab. Scrubs at the tableside and monitors patients as assigned. Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
Job Requirements
* Current Radiological Technologist License in the State of Wyoming
* Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a thorough working knowledge of practices and experiences in a Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab
* BLS Certification through American Heart Association
* 1 year Cath Lab/special procedures experience preferred
* Must be able to perform all vascular/cardiac procedures involving the operation of imaging equipment including assisting the physician during the actual catheterization procedure
