Job Description:
Responsible for Statement of Work (SOW) generation, proposal preparation and negotiation, business plans, and contract performance (cost, schedule, and quality).
Responsible for briefing customer, user, and upper management on all facets of their projects.
Directs the work of functional employees in the execution of the assigned projects while establishing and monitoring performance to schedules, plans and milestones.
The selected individual must set the highest ethical standards for self and others; Frequent customer, user, and upper management interaction is routine.
The PM must be responsive to the customer's needs outside of normal business hours and able to respond to quick reaction needs at any time.
The PM must be able to travel OCONUS and participate in customer meetings, integration, and test events.
Job Qualification Requirements:
Technical or Business Bachelor Degree with a minimum of four (4) years of applicable experience. A degree in Business, Finance, or Management is preferred. An equivalent amount of education and experience may also be considered.
* Customer liaison experience required. Will interface with and present proposed solutions to high-level representatives of customers. Preferred experience with customs and culture of Middle East customers
* Ability to develop customer specifications and correspondence related to new systems requirements.
* Knowledge of technical approaches involved in aircraft modification programs. Will interface with and present proposed solutions to high-level representatives of customers.
* Knowledge of U.S. Government acquisition practices and ability to develop customer specifications and correspondence related to new systems requirements.
* Must be able to successfully lead a cross functional team comprised of functional groups from engineering, manufacturing and support areas of the company to achieve successful performance to budget and contract completion on schedule.
* Must be able to demonstrate leadership and positive interpersonal interaction skills with the customer.
* Preferred experience with military ISR platforms and integration of highly complex sensor systems and ground networks
* Must be able to travel domestically and internationally
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
Position requires an active DoD Secret Security Clearance, the ability to maintain the stated clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
