Asset Management Operations is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to play an integral role on our strategic transformation program team. The Analyst will be a member of the team responsible for the design and implementation of the Alts global operating model. As a member of this team, the individual will partner closely with technology, operations, senior stakeholders and external service providers, to successfully deliver on this very important, large scale global initiative.
Responsibilities
Understand and effectively evaluate operational challenges and leverage experience to formulate and drive innovative solutions (emphasis on process redesign and improvement)
Analyze the benefits and disadvantages of each solution and its suitability/feasibility to the business operations
Manage risks throughout the change initiative by conducting risk analysis and developing mitigation plans
Elicit business and implementation requirements from stakeholders with appropriate prioritization and dependencies identified
Support key leaders in strategic planning around the future state operating model design and the development of strategic partnerships
Identify, assess and document business requirements; propose creative solutions that balance technical solutions against business priorities
Translate business requirements into test plans/actionable playbooks; conduct and facilitate testing in collaboration with development teams and business.
Develop executable approaches to implement business change, communication & training to transition from current to future state
Assist with defining project plans, change management, and implementation plans
Manage business development efforts required to advance the strategic agenda
Qualifications
Experience with large scale organizational change efforts
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to formulate solutions to help address business challenges
Strong business processes modeling experience
Experience creating new service delivery and support models
Proven track record in managing and executing against multiple complex aspects of a project or other transformation initiatives
Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
Ability to effectively multi-task and deliver quality results within a fast-paced project deliverable deadlines
Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders at various levels
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail oriented with effective prioritization and organizational skills
Confident speaker with ability to provide clear and succinct verbal updates to colleagues and senior executives
5+ years experience in Hedge Fund/Asset Management Operations or hedge fund administration
Industry knowledge of Alternative investment products (accounting & E2E process across front, middle and back offices).
2+ years management experience required
Advanced PowerPoint and excel skills, strong Visio skills
