CIB CMBS Origination Associate

The candidate would be responsible for:
* Drafting term sheets based on preliminary committee presentation; negotiating market standard terms with client until a final executed term sheet is achieved
* Brainstorm and review loan structures to ensure that all mortgage loan originations are correctly structured to protect Lenders interests and meet market requirements
* Supervision and review of external legal counsel throughout closing process
* Managing the loan transaction from inception through settlement/closing and subsequent securitization of senior piece and/or syndication of subordinate debt by coordinating with the commercial mortgage origination team, the CMBS trading desk, subordinate debt investors and internal/external legal counsel and various other third parties
* Reviewing securitization disclosures for accuracy and content
* Post closing correspondence with servicer and liaise between Borrower and servicer contact as needed
Qualifications:
* 2+ years experience in commercial real estate finance, investment banking or other commercial real estate experience and interest
* J.D. degree or higher
* Strong management, communication and interpersonal skills
* Firm understanding of the principles of finance, mathematical and/or statistical analysis
* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

The company also provides ATM, digital covering online and mobile, and telephone banking services. JPMorgan Chase & Co. has a collaboration agreement with Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.
