Treasury Payment and Ecommerce Solutions

As a Treasury Payment and Ecommerce Solutions Specialist you will engage with clients ($500 to $2 billion in revenues) to lead strategic discussions focused on structuring efficient technology solutions that will enable them to develop greater automation within their treasury operations by leveraging in-house technology platforms, third party solutions, and connectivity with J.P. Morgan;

This role will lead client and internal discussions around the following areas

* Evaluate and analyze Clients global payments both inbound and outbound
* Identify opportunities to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs
* Partner with Treasury Management Officer and banking in working closely with the Client and partners in implementing our solutions and ideas
* Interviewing client staff in Treasury, Payments and Operations about their existing technology framework to gain a detailed understanding of capabilities and limitations
* Present complex ideas and solutions for effectively managing payment acceptance and disbursement strategies and product and strategy implementation
* Coordinate a relationship driven engagement with management in order to secure clients internal stakeholders, i.e. sales, marketing, finance, IT and support the implementation of payment channel optimization, payment system changes and financial payment cost recovery strategies
* Create and manage comprehensive payments and working capital improvement strategies
* Develop and sell payment technology (mapping, interfaces, gateways, TSFX, settlement and reconciliation packages) for online business and product development for B2B, B2C and B2E global payments solutions
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with our Clients
* Review and evaluate solutions so that our recommendations match their internal requirements and reflect industry best practices
* Manage multiple and complex engagements at the same time
* Developing compatible options on methods for connectivity and integration with the Bank for complex solutions (such as integrated payables and receivables) that interface with various banking products
* Partner with our product and strategy teams on product enhancements and development as well as ROI models

The Solutions team is charged to work with client coverage team to establish a platform for consultative discussions resulting in complex Treasury solutions delivery that support the client's business goals while growing and retaining revenue for the bank.

As a TS Solutions Specialist you may also be asked to promote J.P. Morgans thought leadership by speaking at industry conferences and client events as appropriate.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Structure innovative and customized technology solutions for our most complex client needs that meet J.P. Morgan highest standards
* Deliver to the client and relationship team high quality, persuasive deliverables that enhances our value proposition and helps alleviate any technology objections or concerns clients may have
* Extensive Payments and/or Treasury experience with corporate and Financial Institutions
* Strong working knowledge of traditional, newly developing (RTP) and alternative methods of payment in the key geographies of the world
* Ability to partner across the firm to deliver innovative enterprise solutions to our ecommerce clients that deliver the full value proposition of the firm across all LOBs (Commercial Bank, Investment Bank, Consumer Bank)
* Strong collaborator with internal partners to help drive innovation and stay informed on ecommerce initiatives that can be leveraged by the commercial bank and our clients
* Strong network in the ecommerce space
* Visionary in the payments space and ecommerce space with strategy on next evolution of ecommerce and payments
* Client calling mostly in the US but potentially occasionally overseas
* Provide assistance with client preparation, including pre-call coordination and discovery and post call follow-up and execution
* Develop peer benchmarking and industry best practices and collaborate with our marketing team to deliver client facing collateral associated to these areas
* Assist in training TMOs and bankers as required, on how best to position J.P. Morgans within a clients technology environment
* Manage issue reporting; risks, dependencies, and planning gaps to resolve issues
* Practice Management - Continuously work to improve existing processes and procedures while fostering the growth of junior team members

Qualifications:

* Requires a BA/BS degree preferably with some technical focus
* Requires 7+ years of technical consulting (preferably payments and ecommerce or similar area), relationship management, and/or treasury consulting or sales experience
* Deep understanding of the technology aspects of cash management including;
* Treasury Management (TMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Accounts Payable and Receivable systems, and emerging Fintech platforms
* Understanding of connectivity (SFTP, HTTPS, etc.) and communication (API, ISO XML, proprietary formats)
* Industry expertise preferred
* Must possess strong leadership skills and be very proactive in approach
* Demonstrate excellent executive skill set; strategic thinking, negotiation skills, verbal and written communication, time management, organizational, and influencing skills
* Demonstrate success as a leader within a complex matrix environment: influential partner who can lead and mobilize internal and client technology functions
* Demonstrate strong oral and written presentation skills and ability to present to large groups and executive management
* Visible thought leader with the treasury technology community
* Ability to work independently and with all levels of the organization to facilitate the negotiation of critical technology matters on behalf of the client relationship team
* Demonstrate success managing a virtual team where success is achieved through influence vs. direct reporting relationship
* Strong commercial judgment
