Position Overview:
This position cultivates a positive and professional customer experience through a high degree of customer interaction and communication and a focus on identifying qualified leads. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a key cross-functional role with internal and external stakeholders. This individual must be able to learn complex material, and propose and discuss solutions with key decision-makers.
Position Responsibilities:
* Introduce clients menu of products to current and potential customer base
* Establish new business sales through email and outbound phone call campaigns
* Identify prospective clinical laboratories that may use the product, and identify key decision makers and influencers within these sites
* Promptly respond to inbound leads and determine if they are qualified
* Understand customer needs and requirements through key listening for feedback on product menu options
* Create sales opportunities by reporting and communicating data gathered in a CRM system to be shared with clients
* Maintain detailed documentation of clinical sites contacted
* Drive sales through the client's website
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
* Preferred 2+ years inside sales, direct sales, customer service or telemarketing experience
* AA/BS/BA in the biological sciences or equivalent practical experience, required
* Prior clinical diagnostic lab selling experience ideal
* Strong customer service professional, confident and self-starter
* Excellent time-management experience, results oriented
* Ability to cultivate positive client relationships with the customer
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proven success prospecting, building a pipelines, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, discussing solutions with decision-makers
* Ability to use a standard computer, talk on the phone and sit for extended periods of time.
* Have a desire to learn and advance in a fast growing environment and capable of using good judgement and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements.
* Familiar with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
