KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Environmental, health and safety, including company policy and laws, state and federal regulations.
* Manufacturing, including throughput, cost and waste control, maintenance, quality, inventories control and meeting budgeted production metrics.
* Sales, including local sales, customer service, and partnering with sales and operations manager to establish and meet facility sales goals, identifying and targeting market segments, deploying division pricing strategy.
* Strategic planning, including business, marketing and capital planning processes.
* Maintain and support positive employee relations through active and visible leadership
* Partnering with various functions (EHS, Finance, HR, Manufacturing, Sales) to support business processes
* Human resources management, including effective staffing, recruitment and hiring, workforce engagement, diversity, compliance, employee and leadership development.
* Financial management, including establishing and managing budgets and compliance with financial controls.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

* 7 - 10 years corrugated experience preferably.
* BS or equivalent experience.

International Paper Company operates as a paper and packaging company primarily in North America, Europe, Latin America, North Africa, India, and Russia. It operates through three segments: Industrial Packaging, Global Cellulose Fibers, and Printing Papers. The Industrial Packaging segment manufactures containerboards, including linerboard, medium, whitetop, recycled linerboard, recycled medium, and saturating Kraft. The Global Cellulose Fibers segment provides fluff, market, and specialty pulps that are used in absorbent hygiene products, tissue and paper products, and non-absorbent end applications.

The company sells its products directly to end users and converters, as well as through agents, resellers, and paper distributors.
