Charter of the Design Productive Solution (DPS) team in Custom-Logic ASIC Solution (CAS) group is to develop flows, methodologies and design solution for ASIC physical design to enhance productivity execution and power performance and area (PPA).

This role requires advanced understanding of Primetime based Timing signoff flows (STA, ERC, Noise, Power), ASIC signoff methodology and ASIC signoff execution. These flows need to be customized across multiple projects based on process technologies and ASIC project signoff requirements. Responsibility of development, testing and documentation the flows and methodology are critical towards ASIC design execution success. Team support and execution of signoff convergence on projects are required

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

* 5+ year experience in STA and signoff methodology experience. Experience should include scripting experience such as Perl, Python and/or TCL

* Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field

Preferred Qualifications

* 10+ years of experience in SoC design experience

* Experience with P&R Tools such as ICC2/Fusion Compiler

* Experience with standard software engineering practices for version control, configuration management, testing, root cause analysis and quality insurance
