This position is associated with the sale of Intel's NAND memory and storage business to SK Hynix. The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business' storage solutions, including client and enterprise SSDs, in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data.

This position aligns to Phase 1 of the transaction, which includes the 3DNAND enterprise and client SSD business. Phase 1 is expected to close in late 2021, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. At deal close, all employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition to SK Hynix

As the global leader in the semiconductor industry, Intel possess many industry-leading SSD technologies including the most capable Quadruple Level Cell (QLC) NAND Flash products. As a CVEI team member, you will be part of a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK Hynix.

Our CVEI team is seeking an Automation Infrastructure Engineer to help support our automated testing and validation infrastructure which includes servers, networking, OS deployments, storage, VMWare, Altiris, etc. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Deploy, support, and maintain new and existing servers, VM's, software, automation, etc as needed
2. Enable and support infrastructure automation via scripting (bat, bash, powershell, etc)
3. Enable and support automated infrastructure monitoring and alerts, troubleshooting issues, and working with automation development teams for fixes and features
4. Documenting changes and new additions to infrastructure
5. Resolving any infrastructure issues that may arise
6. Working with multiple validation teams throughout the software development lifecycle
7. Comfortable with setting up test systems with a variety of hardware.

Qualifications

- Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ year(s) experience with Javascript, and ReST API's
- 3+ year(s) experience with Python
- Experience with source control management tools such as GIT and debugging issues via IDE or web browser

Preferred qualifications:

- Familiarity with SCRUM / Agile software development practices and methodologies
- Demonstrate versatility in software engineering across a variety of current programming and scripting languages
- Passion for quality, thrive in a fast paced, challenging environment, and enjoy working as an integral member of the validation team
- Excellent analytic and problem solving skills, as well as strong communication skills
- Self-driven individual who is capable and excited to learn about new technologies

Preferred Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10)
Experience supporting internal or external customers would be an added advantage
Familiarity with install/upgrade/debug/repair motherboards and other computer hardware
Ability to handle multi-tasking and multiple interruptions in very dynamic environment
