The Methodist Hospital Physician Organization, Houston, TX, a renowned top-ranked organization, is looking for Intensivist physicians to work in our facility for the various ICUs. We have openings for Intensivists in the following departments:
* Neuro Intensive Care Unit
* Surgical Intensive Care Unit
* Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
* Medical Intensive Care Unit
The Methodist Hospital is a tertiary referral center with a teaching affiliation and research opportunities, and is an innovator in the treatment of diseases. The Methodist Hospital is a 1000 bed hospital, with the DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center having 41 beds in its CVICU and 18 beds in its NICU; performing over 3,000 cardiac surgeries annually, including coronary heart bypass, insertion of pacemakers, repair and replacement of defective heart valves, removal of tumors, heart and lung transplants, ventricular assist devices (VAD), ventricular complex heart transplants, other standard procedures, and less invasive alternatives.
The Department offers highly competitive salaries, 5 weeks vacation, 2 weeks CME, and a comprehensive benefits package, including malpractice insurances. Successful candidates will perform critical care duties, and some teaching responsibilities.
