Surgical Services Tech II PRN.
The surgical technician II, under the supervision of the RN, assists in giving care to surgical patients prior to, during and after surgery.
Plans intra-operative patient care to ensure adequate preparation for the surgical procedure.
Maintains a safe environment for patients and personnel and takes all appropriate actions to ensure that the physical environment is consistently safe.
Coordinates all surgical services supply systems.
Prepares the operating suite for surgical procedures.
High School / GED Required.
Has completed a recognized accredited course of technical instruction in surgical techniques as assisting, and has passed the registry examination in the state of Illinois.
