Job Description
What you will do
Fire Alarm Service Techs are responsible for the servicing, troubleshooting and programming of Fire Alarm systems.
How you will do it
* Work with a sense of urgency.
* Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
* Be timely in your attendance at work.
* Backup other technicians, willing to work overtime to provide same day service for overflow calls.
* Real time dispatching and closing of service calls via laptop and iPhone.
* Maintaining an accurate inventory.
* Effectively communicate with our customers and provide high quality service.
* Perform other duties as directed.
* Fill out accurate and descriptive paperwork and documentation
What we look for
Required
* Excellent phone skills and strong interaction with customers.
* Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
* Must be available to participate in a scheduled after hours on-call rotation
* Must be available for overtime including weekends.
* Experience in the following systems: Fire Alarm, ( experience in the following is a plus : Access Control, Security, CCTV. )
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
* NICET II in Fire Alarm Systems
Preferred
* Experience with Special Hazards is a bonus
