Job Description

Job Specific Qualifications:
* Minimum 5+ years of experience working as database developer
* Minimum 1-year experience working as Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator
* Experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud a big plus
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and administer databases including security, access control, and documentation
* Ensure database optimization, integrity, consistency, security and privacy
* Collaborate with Application Developers to implement database design, code review, and query tuning
* Write complex and optimized queries, optimize and enhance processes, and increase system's reliability and efficiency
* Develop stored procedure, functions, packages, triggers, and views
* Review business requests for data and data usage and research data sources for new and better data feeds/ingestions
* Create data dictionaries, database structures, reports
* Support data access control, data migration, synchronization, security
* Strong database troubleshooting/bug fixing skills and the ability to isolate and resolve database issues in time-sensitive requests
* Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams
* Willingness to learn new technologies, accept new duties, and support a dynamic work environment.
* Willingness to work outside of business hours to support releases, emergency situations, and as required.

Contractual requirements:
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
* Must be able to obtain/maintain a DHS EOD and a Secret clearance
