JRSS Network Engineer SME
The Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) Network Engineer SME provides services in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). You will provide Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS)/Top Level Architecture (TLA) EoIP support. You will provide engineering solutions and support to the LWN/Army DoDIN and Joint Information Environment (JIE) architecture and UC efforts with the goal of improving computer network performance, defense, and security. We are looking to hire full-time JRSS SMEs to support our IT services contract located at Fort Huachuca, AZ.
Provide planning, design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to the ADCNOMS project.
* IP data networking
* Experience in all aspects of network security
* Operating systems (Linux, Microsoft, Cisco Internet Operating system (IOS), Juniper Operating System (JUNOS)), screen OS, data packet routing, switching, proxy services, and engineering for IP data networks
* VPN and IPSEC
* IP data networking equipment in a DoD network such as, (Cisco, Juniper, and Brocade)
* Troubleshooting IP data networks using devices such as, (NetScout and/or WireShark)
* Operational and implementation expertise in these technologies: IPv4/IPv6, VLAN, VRF/VPN, MPLS, Routing Protocols (such as BGP, OSPF), QoS, NAC/NAP 802.1x, VoIP, Proxy Services, WAN optimizers, SSL accelerators, DHCP controllers, EoIP, Wireless, VTC, Remote access, Performance and protocol analyzer, Load balancer
* Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of Microsoft Visio
* Participates in special projects as required.
Education
* BA/BS or equivalent experience
Qualifications/Certifications
* DoD 8570.1-M Certification: IAT Level III Certification
* Computing Environment Certification, CCNA
* Clearance: Secret
* 8 - 10 years of experience in information technology field
