GDIT is seeking a Senior Program Manager to manage a complex program that includes multiple system development projects, technical operations of mission critical systems, internal business operations activities, and security compliance activities. The program includes operating and maintaining the legacy systems for a federal government customer, while preparing for modernization and technology transformation activities.
Responsibilities:
* Building and managing an effective and efficient team, focused on high quality delivery, financial performance, and client relationship development.
* Work with the government, vendors and teaming partners to integrate systems for the overall success.
* Developing staff and ensure ongoing performance and professional growth.
* Overseeing and continually improving delivery on program, including support problem resolution.
* Creating effective business and technical strategy that drives growth and execution
Qualifications:
* 10+ years progressive experience in managing/leading software development programs, including some of significant size. Experience must include program management of services to the federal government, execution, growth, and financial responsibility.
* Experience migrating complex applications from client server using custom code to Cloud hosted environment using low code solutions
* Project Management Professional Certification and/or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner or equivalent
* 3+ years of experience leading a program using Agile methodology
* 1+ years of experience leading programs using DevSecOps approach and CI/CD tool chain
* Must have the ability to present effectively in front of audiences of any size, and be a persuasive communicator on program and technical issues.
* Hands-on technical background in software development or business process reengineering desired.
