Job Description

Facebook is seeking an auditor to join the Internal Audit Family of Apps team to perform operational audits and readiness reviews for existing and newly launched products. The auditor will be responsible for evaluating risks and controls around systems development, product operations, fraud and integrity tools and controls, data pipelines, machine learning models, and various metrics calculation. The ideal candidate will have audit experience working with state-of-the-art homegrown engineering systems, analyzing large data sets, strong technical skills, and abilities to learn new processes and systems quickly.

Internal Auditor - Product Responsibilities

* Execute complex audits from risk assessment to remediation validation

* Prepare workpaper and document control testing and conclusion

* Deliver regular progress updates and audit results to the manager

* Collaborate with co-sourcing staff to complete audit projects

* Anticipate potential roadblocks and issues and provide suggestions and alternatives

* Review the machine learning models used for Facebook products and the code written to process data

* Partner with Engineering, Product, Finance teams to stay informed of product roadmaps and provide input on controls and process requirements

* Collaborate with other Internal Audit teams to ensure alignment on audits including coordination on the audit scope, work program, fieldwork and reporting

* Leverage data analytics to enhance audit procedures and build continuous monitoring capability

* Build collaborative and trusting relationships with business partners and cross-functional stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

* 3+ years of IT auditing, software engineering, data science or similar experience

* B.S. in computer science, management information systems, business or related field

* Organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization experience

* Proven communication skills

* Interpersonal, relationship building and collaboration experience

* Experience in auditing proprietary in-house built systems and working with internet scale data reporting analysis

* Demonstrated experience of project management practices, tooling, and managing audit projects through their lifecycle

* Proficient with SQL or other programming languages

Preferred Qualifications

* CISA, CIA or CISSP certification

* Experience working with large data sets and distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop)

* Understanding of advertisement, e-commerce, cloud computing, operating systems, web technologies

* Experience working in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity and staying on top of business and product changes that could affect customer experience and compliance requirements

* Project/program management experience
