We have developed best-in-class collaboration models with agencies and our cross-company creative network. While we lead our team to create innovative films, content, and experience across our own channels, we also guide our lead agencies in the creation of content for TV, Print and OOH. This ensures a consistent and strong creative narrative for work that reaches an audience across the globe due to the scale of our apps.
We are currently seeking a design leader to build the Facebook company brand through strategic brand and product systems to express Facebook companys unique role in the world. This person will partner with Facebook company creatives, marketing leadership and product leaders to build holistic, consistent brand systems at scale across a range of touch points. This person must have a strong background in brand systems, strategy, craft and design thinking, with a proven track record of leading integrated efforts. The ability to thrive and create a vision for work in a fast-paced, iterative, unstructured environment is critical. This person must be comfortable guiding teams, agencies and/or production partners, but should be willing to roll up their sleeves to do the work when necessary.

Designer, Facebook Company Responsibilities

* Lead, design and prototype brand and product systems for the Facebook company brand

* Leverage a strong strategic acumen for building timeless brands through brand architecture

* Create brand and product systems, behaviors and design solutions with a high level of craft

* Develop original breakthrough design thinking for a variety of marketing touch-points

* Manage development of executions that strongly resonate with a range of audiences while maintaining consistency for the brand

* Work cross-functionally, balancing the needs of stakeholders and breaking down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas

* Contribute, inspire and sustain a culture of excellence along with designers, illustrators, copywriters, animators

* Seamlessly collaborate with creatives, product designers, engineers, researchers and product marketing managers to serve a global audience

Minimum Qualifications

* 6+ years experience as a creative leader

* Experience developing and managing brand programs in an integrated marketing environment

* Experience working with data & insights

* Experience overseeing design teams and/or agencies

* Experience across the full palette of design expression: traditional, digital (including products), experiential, and ideas that drive earned media

* Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners

Preferred Qualifications

* Social campaign definition and leadership experience

* Experience collaborating with or working on a product team

* Experience leading with creative vision, purpose and innovation
