Workforce Strategy Manager

Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates to deliver our innovative products. The Data Center Business Operations team is seeking a technically minded individual to support the build-out of our workforce strategy program for the global data center organization. In this role, you will be expected to help drive process automation and standardization, create analytical models and dashboards, produce operational KPIs, and serve as a strategic partner with leaders to help them understand their workforce composition. You will play a key role in various organizational planning analyses and exercises across the data center space by using analytical rigor to drive insight, alignment and identify opportunities.

Workforce Strategy Manager Responsibilities

* Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, organizational research, and the presentation of data to help inform and influence key business decisions about the growth of the global data center organization

* Perform deep-dive analyses to deliver insights on the root causes of issues and make recommendations to drive changes in business strategy

* Drive decision-making and prioritization for the business through analyzing data, identifying trends, and producing optimized workforce strategies

* Convey a data-driven story to technical and non-technical audiences around key business insights, in collaboration with Recruiting, People Analytics, our HR Business Partner team, Finance, and other cross-functional partners

* Work with data infrastructure, tooling and process teams to triage data-quality issues and drive long-term improvement

* Demonstrate judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data

Minimum Qualifications

* 8+ years of professional experience in an analytical role, emphasizing data analysis or modeling

* 3+ years of experience with SQL (or equivalent)

* 3+ years of experience working with data visualization tools, including using advanced functionality (e.g., data blending)

* Experience working with HC/organizational people data (e.g., headcount, attrition, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics)

* Experience processing, analyzing, and interpreting data sets in order to make business recommendations and decisions

* Experience establishing and maintaining cross-functional relationships

* Experience with communication, organization, and working on multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

* MS in Organizational Behavior, Organizational Psychology, Economics, or related degree

* Experience working with HR/organizational people data and systems (e.g., Workday and Salesforce)

* Experience working with benchmarking data, through research and/or using benchmarking platforms (e.g., Visier)

* 2+ years of experience working internally (as opposed to consulting) in an organization with 500+ professional employees (e.g., high-tech, financial services, healthcare, biotech, etc.)
