Southern Industrial is seeking Crane Operators in local to Columbia, SC. You must have an current NCCCO TLL and TSS certification and a Class A CDL.

The primary function of this position is to independently perform lifts and picks utilizing the following types of cranes but not limited to Link-belt, Grove, Liebherr, All terrain and hydraulic truck cranes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

* Complete JSA's and lift plans.
* Review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.
* Perform all necessary safety checks on the equipment per procedures & policy.
* Perform inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
* Operate cranes in a safe manner.
* Operate 190 ton
* May operate Hydraulic and All Terrain Cranes.
* Maintain logbook, ELD's and comply with Hours of Service and all other DOT requirements for CDL drivers.
* Collaborate with Riggers and Truck Drivers to hoist materials and or loads through Radio or visual signals and other communication.
* Regular attendance is required.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

* Class B CDL is a minimum.
* NCCCO Certification TLL and TSS (Service Trucks).
* Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience operating cranes.
* Clean driving record.
* Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
* Minimal overnight travel may be required.
