The F135 Materials Maintenance Analyst is an essential role, on-site daily, and an integral part of a team of motivated professionals who enjoy working collaboratively to support this fast-moving program. The Materials Maintenance Analyst supports our Aftermarket Military and U.S. Government contract deliverables to ensure fleet readiness of the worlds most advanced fighter engine.
As an essential employee working on-site, the Materials Maintenance Analyst is responsible for managing the output of F135 LRU repair forecasting, Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and Control Account project integration to execute Aftermarket contract requirements and ensure continuity of supply of material to the F135 customer-owned bond room locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Essential Role 100% On-Site Presence Required in Rockford, IL facility
* Facilitate and perform the material transactions within SAP to receive stock into the Rockford F135 customer-owned bond room and electronically issue all required components to the shop floor in support of Rockford F135 LRU Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and Upgrade (MRO&U;) activities
* Execute timely and accurate cycle counting of Rockford F135 customer-owned bond room inventory
* Serve as on-site POC for daily communication between F135 Program Office, Rockford MRO shop floor personnel and Rockford Engineering
* Analyze system data to develop and recommend asset management and inventory strategies in support of repair TAT goals and cost/schedule targets of customer funding
* Integrate and effectively communicate with F135 Aftermarket Repair, F135 Program Management Office (PMO), PWES Military Aftermarket, Production and various levels of Senior Management regarding asset schedules / material availability / contractual requirements
* Maintain and present plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the program(s) to track progress and ensure established targets are met
* Identify and promote continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
* Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR
* In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
* Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with F135 LRU Bills of Material
* Demonstrated proficiency executing material movement transactions within SAP
* Experience with execution of US Government contracts and/or US Government Furnished Material compliance policies
* Demonstrated ability to manage daily tasks through collaboration with cross-functional disciplines and communication across organizational boundaries
* Experience leveraging interpersonal and oral/written communication skills to drive complex issues to closure
* Proven experience leveraging process improvement methods and tools to drive results
* 2+ years experience in Business, Logistics, Finance, Program Management, Materials, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain or combined within the aerospace and/or manufacturing industry
* Experience with Microsoft Excel and SAP
