Position Summary
Responsible for partnering with executive and high potential team members to accelerate experienced leader development and career trajectory within Kroger. Responsible for onboarding internal executive promotions and external executive hires in partnership with the business unit they will reside in. Work together with COEs to support training and skills development for their assigned executives. Help leaders clarify goals, set and achieve development objectives, and unlock their potential to increase retention and readiness for roles. Provide input on leadership vacancies, needs, job profiles and recruiting decisions to help ensure we have the right people in the right roles. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
Essential Job Functions
* Lead the creation and execution of a best-in-class onboarding experience that allows executives to feel welcomed, have a deep understanding our purpose and promise, to get engrained in the business and to have a VIP experience from day one
* Guide key executives through their career journeys, progressions, role changes, and development at Kroger
* Clarify executive objectives and develop strategies that will help them achieve their goals
* Serve as their in-house expert and coach for performance, mentorship, development needs, etc.
* Understand business specific career development and succession gaps, opportunities, wins, best practices, etc. in order to create one best way solutions to enhance enterprise wide mobility, opportunities, placements, etc.
* Help executives alter their thinking so that they can facilitate improvements in their performance
* Develop executive's confidence and create a space where they are comfortable sharing wins, opportunities and are open to receiving feedback and coaching
* Conduct ongoing assessments to measure progress
* Report on career pathing and identify cross-business unit or cross-function career pathing options to enrich associate mobility and work with talent acquisition COE to help provide data on internal talent ready for new opportunities
* Support the management/creation programs such mentoring, mobility, external development, board placements etc.
* Utilize enterprise career pathing tool to drive target outcomes
* Analyze succession plans and career paths across the enterprise to identify executive-level cross-team career pathing and determine succession plan health
* Ensure requirements are being met by tracking key performance indicators and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives

Minimum Position Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in business or human resources
* 10+ years of experience in Talent Development
* Any previous training experience, leadership experience and proven ability to manage multiple high touch relationships and priorities across a variety of business units that will run concurrently
Desired Previous Experience/Education
* Master's Degree in industrial or organizational psychology, or Master of Business Administration
* Retail experience
* Experience as either a Business Leader, Talent Development Leader, or Executive/Career Coach
