Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex firmware functions within Honeywell HBT Fire.

You will:

* Use your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
* Generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.
* Identify and propose technical improvements using your software engineering knowledge and principals
* Redesign of existing systems to fulfill the needs of Honeywell's customers
* Accelerate innovation and growth, teaming with the world's most talented engineers
* Participate in schematic/layout review process as necessary to understand hardware design
* Act as a technical liaison to the marketing, sales and technical support teams.

YOU MUST HAVE

* Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science
* 7+ years of Embedded Engineering experience

* Experience or working knowledge of Hardware
* Experience working with RTOS, emBos, freeRTOS
* Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices working in a SAFe Agile environment (Jira, Subversion, BitBucket)
