Position Overview

This position is responsible for all areas of Inkjet-related production, including continuous roll operations, strip slitting and cleaning.
Job Responsibilities

* Become proficient in Quality Inspection, material handling/flow, data gathering and all applicable procedures/shop orders

* Prepare and maintain records as required

* Observe Departmental and Plant Safety Rules as well as EPA Regulations

* Maintain an acceptable level of all Company Policies. Use protective equipment as required

* Maintain an acceptable level of attendance (as measured by the Attendance Policy)

* Commit and become knowledgeable of Continuous Improvement initiatives within the Department

* Assist other team members as instructed by your Team Leader or Supervisor

* Other duties as required by management

Minimum Qualifications

* High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent

* Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, preferred

* Strong mechanical aptitude

* Ability to read and understand written instructions

* Ability to be accurate with both calipers and micrometer

* Experience working with steel microfibers, preferred

Training/Certification

Will be trained and certified on all aspects of the position. Training is typically conducted over a prescribed period and may require working at night. When and if training certification is required, it may consist of taking and passing one or more comprehensive test(s) based on classroom materials, computer training information and/or field hands-on training comprehension demonstrations. When and if training certification is required, the incumbent will be asked to renew his/her certification at regular intervals when or if lack of certification level knowledge is demonstrated. Must maintain a satisfactory level certification when required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs. Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for long periods of time. Able to climb a ladder and flex the upper and lower body. Must be able to wear a face respirator for up to 4 hours at a time.
