Location: Torrance, California, USA. This role is a people leader role and requires being onsite. Relocation is only available for internal colleagues.

Crucial Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities, and Required Interactions:

The Senior Director, IT, has ownership and accountability for the establishment and execution of a global IT strategy, the integration with Phenomenexs business strategy, and the delivery of all information and technology capabilities required to drive OpCo success. Responsibilities include:

* Provides strategic direction and leadership to all IT activities for Phenomenex, including
* Enterprise Architecture & Infrastructure
* Business Analytics & Data Architecture
* Information Security & Compliance
* Application Landscape
* IT Operations
* PMO
* Client Services
* Control IT spend by taking ownership of the Phenomenex IT budget
* Represent IT at L1 Strategy/PD & Presidents Kaizen activities
* Work closely with leaders across the business to ensure IT services support critical business functions
* Represent IT in all management meetings, providing updates on critical projects impacting key business processes
* Lead the status of all projects (local and global) and make corrections where needed
* Monitor stability and health of key applications impacting Phenomenex Core Value Drivers
* Partner with business leaders to align IT strategy & initiatives with business strategy & initiatives
* Represent IT in all site compliance audits and ensure compliance to SOX and all quality and security policies
* Ensure P1/P2 incident escalation process is followed for all high-priority incidents and that RCCM is conducted when vital.
* Develop a pipeline of IT leaders from existing IT associates and Danaher GO funnel



Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

* 10 years experience working in progressive leadership positions
* 5 years IT management experience
* Experience communicating with and presenting to C-level executives
* Degree/diploma in a technical or business-related field, such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Sciences, Business Administration, or Economics
