Core Responsibilities

* Gather data, review, analyze and report info on capital spending. Investigate drivers for unit cost variance
* Support budget development process, particularly with the quantification of the work plan (e.g., unit cost trend analysis)
* Responsible for updating all relevant internal systems (CPMS, GIS, CIS and other work management systems) that support the department's projects
* Support financial forecasting processes with analyses and update forecasting information system
* Support the service line inspection contract updates
* Perform additional tasks when necessary to support the organization and the Company
* Provide support to the gas interruptible program including ensuring customer billing, notification to customers and gas supply as well as supporting any regulatory filings
* Participate in special projects as assigned
* Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

* Bachelor's Degree Finance/Accounting/Business/Economics or related field And 2 years' relevant experience Or
* Associate's Degree Finance/Accounting/Business/Economics or related field And 4 years' relevant experience

Required Work Experience

* Demonstrated quantitative experience and critical thinking capabilities. Required
* Previous experience of querying data from multiple internal systems, performing variance analyses and communicating the results. Required
* Proficient in MS Word, Power Point and have advanced Excel skills. Required
* Understanding of basic accounting principles and Company accounting (e.g., income statement, balance sheet). Required
* Experience using internal systems (BI, CPMS, GIS, CIS and other work and financial management systems and budgeting tools). Pref

* Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
* Travel to company locations through the service territory as needed.
