Description
As the Compliance Sr Manager, you will work to mitigate risk and assure that Citizens businesses are in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies., with a focus on Regulatory Change Management.
You will:
* Lead in the strategy, design, implementation, and enhancement of internal programs and controls to mitigate risk on a daily basis.
* Bbe the point of contact for solutions on compliance issues, which requires strong creative thinking and inter/intra-department collaborative experience, including regular engagement with the Compliance Director.
* Work with other Compliance Officers to determine business needs, strategize, and develop standards and procedures to assure businesses are in compliance.
* Review resources that relate to current and proposed laws and regulations that impact the bank's compliance requirements and implement any changes in a timely manner.
* Provides extensive exposure to advanced technology, including risk intelligence (leveraging machine learning), system integration to support a holistic view of risk, as well as an agile approach to managing technology and process enhancements.
Qualifications
* 6-8 years relevant work experience with risk, compliance, or audit functions within the financial services industry preferred
* Experience in planning, executing, and reporting on compliance testing reviews and regulatory issue validation activities
* Working knowledge of traditional banking regulations and banking functions
* Understanding of rules, laws, and regulations, and specific regulatory requirements
* Strong customer focus
* Strong written, verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with an emphasis on problem solving, conflicting objectives, and dealing with multiple customers as well as varying levels within an organization both internally and externally
* Excellent critical thinking skills
* Excellent project management and organizational skills
* Strong technology background. Experience with Archer and CUBE a plus.
* Agile experience a plus.

* Bachelors degree required
