Citizens Capital Markets, is seeking an experienced Director Advisory to join our team.

The Director Advisory role acts as the face of the Citizens Bank Commercial Banking advisory group. He/She is responsible for relationship management / client coverage, transaction structuring and execution, as well as general corporate finance activities (e.g., advisory, refinancings, and valuations) across more than one industry (e.g., capital goods and consumer).

This individual is the primary contact with major corporate and institutional clients and serves their overall investment banking needs. May be involved in structuring all types of transactions / financings for these clients or may work in conjunction with specialized staff.

* Responsible for developing, maintaining and generating revenue for medium and smaller sized clients.
* Work with relationship bankers, corporate finance industry sector bankers and product specialists on transaction development.
* Work with clients on idea generation and transaction development complementary with corporate growth strategies.
* Coordinate referral partner activities.
* Liaise with risk management to ensure that appropriate credit and market risks are identified and addressed.

Qualifications

* 7+ years Commercial/Investment banking/Capital markets experience
* Fluency in Corporate Finance: Capital Structure optimization and alternatives, Capital Markets funding sources, maximizing Return on Investment.
* Fluency in M&A Execution: Valuation Techniques (going concern valuation, securities valuation, asset valuation); Buy-side and Sell-side processes; Fairness Opinions; knowledge of legal, accounting, tax and regulatory matters relevant to M&A.
* Equity Capital Markets competency.
* Effective communications and influencing skills.

Education

* Bachelors Degree required
* Masters Degree/MBA strongly preferred.

This role can be located in Los Angeles or Charlotte, NC
