Job Description

* The position is within the Supplier Acquisition function of the Global Supplier Finance business. This person will be responsible for developing successful supplier acquisition sales programs for the Citi Supplier Finance (CSF) product which provides working capital and cash flow benefits to our Institutional Clients Group (ICG) buyer/clients and their suppliers. The selected person will need to grow a portfolio of business in terms of both revenue and assets, as well as act as the primary supplier acquisition program contact for the allotted portfolio of names. This Person will be responsible for working with Trade product and Client Management, as well as sales and operations partners to ensure rapid and effective sales and implementation to maximize revenue for this customer base

Responsibilities:

* Produce and exceed revenue and asset targets annually to strengthen the Trade P&L;

Work with sponsoring ICG clients to develop high impact strategies to execute successful supplier finance sales programs

Sell, follow-up, and sign prospective clients on to the Citi Supplier Finance program/platform, which are suppliers to Institutional Clients Group (ICG) relationships (i.e.: Buyers)

Build robust active program pipeline, and track items moving to closure for existing and new programs

Negotiate pricing and contracts

Work with suppliers' creditors to ensure Citi receives required priority interest in asset financed

Ensure all supplier documentation/agreements are completed and due diligence is performed

Develop and tailor high impact marketing/sales programs in support of acquisition strategies

Single point of contact managing account meetings with sponsoring ICG clients (Buyer) to track program progress, shifts in client needs, markets, competition and future aspirations to better position Citi Supplier Finance

Work closely and in partnership with the Trade program manager, product and sales teams on customer prioritization, account planning and goal setting

The Global Supplier Finance team is a closely-knit group that manages supplier finance programs for large ICG clients. The assignment provides an opportunity to:

Develop in-depth understanding of this key Trade product (i.e.: Supply Chain Finance)

Gain exposure to clients across different industries and regions

Develop analytical, strategic and execution skills to administer successful Supply Chain Finance supplier acquisition sales programs

Qualifications:

Knowledge/Experience:

6 - 10 years SCF Onboarding experience- regularly interfacing iw clients (Buyers) senior executive contacts (i.e. CPO, Asst. Treasurer, Treasurer Etc.) And within Citis Trade senior management team

Excellent client interaction/account management history

Knowledge of UCC/financing statements, inter-creditor and receivables purchase agreements desirable required

Education:
