Citibank, N.A. seeks an Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.
Duties: Define strategic plans for both upgrades and the scope of system designs and architecture using technical knowledge of enterprise entitlements, transaction processing and trade management technologies, applications, platforms and processes, including the Citi Direct for Securities (CDS) core framework. Exercise discretionary decision-making authority over the design and implementation of new features. Oversee the front-end to back-end implementation leveraging knowledge of the technical aspects of enterprise entitlements, transaction processing and trade management technologies and applications, including their strategic uses and customization. Define the scope of applications development projects to meet client commitments, create revenue-generating enhancements and potential cost saves, and implement client on-boarding procedures. Lead feasibility discussions with key stakeholders that include the business, operations partners, and technology teams, and manage queries raised by cross-functional teams, this includes interacting with business & technology partners, all stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Define objectives, mentor and coach team members, and oversee periodic performance reviews, including appraisals and performance feedback. Coordinate with various teams across different regions during application releases, and monitor and report the status of projects to senior management.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in Applications Development as an Analyst or Developer or closely related position in the International Financial Services industry. Must have experience with: Direct Custody and Clearing Domain; SWIFT secure financial messaging for security settlement Instructions MT540, MT541, MT542, MT543, MT544, MT545, MT546, MT547, MT548 and MT578; SEPA and SWIFT cross border payments messaging instructions MT103 MT202, MT210, MT192 and MT292; Java based C24 APIs and Prowide APIs libraries to format, validate and parse SWIFT financial messaging; Frontend GUI development using React JS, Material UI or similar frameworks, Java script, Type Script, CSS, HTML, Webpack, JSP/Servlet; Developing Multi-threaded, Distributed, Transactional, Scalable, Resilient, cloud native, event-driven and Client Facing Enterprise Grade Web Applications using Java, J2EE, Spring boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, Junit, Mokito, Apache POI, Jasper, JPA/Hibernate, Ehcache, Atomikos Transactional APIs, JMS, IBM MQ, JDBC, Enterprise Java Bean, Struts, Spring MVC, Advance SQL, IBM DB2, MongoDB, Shell Script, IBM Websphere and open source technologies; Maven, Jenkins, Team City, uDeploy, Sonar, Docker, OpenShift, Git, Jira, JConsole, Black duck, Checkmarx, ITRS Geneos Alert system, CyberArk, Service Now.
