Global Functions Technology (GFT) delivers innovative technology solutions and key global platforms for Citis Global Functions division. These solutions enable Citi to comply with regulatory mandates and empower our businesses to achieve their goals, both current and long-term. Our products and initiatives adhere to Citis strategic architecture and support the end-to-end integration of multiple global functions within the bank including Finance, Risk, and Controls.

Job Purpose:

The GFT Data Program Manager will be responsible for all aspects of program execution for a set of projects within our overall Data Transformation agenda, focused on improving our data accuracy & completeness across the GFT technology estate as well as driving adoption of the future state strategic data platforms across all of our functional areas.

Key Responsibilities:

* In this role you will partner closely with the Chief Data Office, the GFT engineering leads and our Functional stakeholders across Risk and Finance to drive root cause analysis of data issues to drive a set of near term objectives
* To be successful you will build strong working relationships with business and operational partners as well as multiple technology organisations within both a regional and global setting.
* You will leverage relevant industry knowledge and experience to partner with platform engineering leads to define a set of objectives and associated relevant metrics to measure progress in a meaningful way.
* You will ensure appropriate plans and designs are in place to automate data quality checks, ensure appropriate SLAs & EOD markers are defined and adopted, with supporting monitoring and mitigations to identify breaches.
* You will review the current process for identifying, prioritising and remediating data quality issues to identify areas of opportunity to improve toolset & workflow.
* You will define and own sound, executable, integrated e2e delivery plans across all the technology teams in both Global Functions Technology and the Business Aligned technology teams, over a multi-year time horizon.
* You will drive a culture of accountability across the teams, including the business stakeholder functions.
* You will ensure that appropriate end to end context is at the forefront and the appropriate end to end process and technical architecture principles are reinforced.

Required Knowledge/Experience:

* You should have 10+ years of recent experience as a technology leader partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple geographies and functions, as well as demonstrated ability to build a strong collaborative relationships that culminate in a delivery track record
* You should have a passion for data & technology and be conversant with industry direction, leading products and trends and a track record of having successfully delivered competitive advantage through technology services.
* Experience in large scale Data Transformation initiatives & best practices to achieve accurate, complete & standardized data sets to underpin a multi-function complex technology landscape.
* Experience in a fast-paced situation room type environment for remediating urgent, high priority issues in a short turnaround time.
* You should have a strong sense of financial soundness and demonstrate a reasonable understanding of budgeting, forecasting and expense management.
* You should have experience building and managing diverse, inclusive, high performing teams and keep them engaged and motivated.
* You should have strong problem solving skills, with ability to isolate root cause & ensure problems are solved in the most optimal order.
* You should have a technical or engineering degree or equivalent experience
