Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. The Senior Leveraged Credit Salesperson will be responsible for distribution of Leveraged Loans to Tier 1 institutional credit investors.

Daily responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining a daily dialogue/relationship with investor base
2. Pro-actively providing ideas, research, market information, etc., to facilitate trading activity between Wells Fargo and our investor base
3. Actively engaging the trading desk and their axes to facilitate trading between Wells Fargo and the investor base
4. Coordinating with internal partners, including other sales people, traders, research, syndicate and management to enhance client relationships.
* Frequent travel to clients, client presentations, and client conferences are required.
* Strong interpersonal skills required.
* A proven track record of client development and retention as well as strong leadership skills are a must.

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CRF 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business units risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in capital markets, industry experience within the specific sector of the position, or a combination of both

* Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Other Desired Qualifications
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Bloomberg proficiency
* Candidate needs to possess exceptional credit knowledge.
* Candidate has to have established relationships with leveraged loan credit markets buy-side clients.

Job Expectations
* Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
* Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
* Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
