The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

As part of Enterprise Data Technology to support Privacy Data Services business functions. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, maintenance and support of mission critical systems that enable these business functions.

Job Responsibilities

* Regarded across the enterprise as an expert in multiple identified areas of expertise with responsibility for developing standards and enterprise-wide best practices and for engineering complex, large scale technology solutions to address highly complex and cross-organizational issues.
* Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs using Agile development practices.
* Maintains broad knowledge of other technology engineering disciplines and collaborating with other key experts to ensure we are making the right technology choices for Wells Fargo.
* Translates advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions.
* Responsible for being an expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practices.
* Maintains knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.
* Provides expert counsel to senior technology leadership and advises and mentors others with the goal of knowledge transfer. Represents Wells Fargo to external industry groups, influencing industry standards.
* Responsible for being an expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practices.

Required Qualifications
* 7+ years of software engineering experience
* 5+ years of experience with end-to-end design and delivery of data warehouse applications
* 2+ years of experience with Big Data or Hadoop tools such as Spark, Hive, Kafka and Map
* 2+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience
* 5 + years of experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning

Desired Qualifications
* An industry-standard technology certification
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* 2+years of Mongo DB experience
* 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
* Experience securing IaaS/PaaS private cloud or DevOps environments
* 7+ years of experience leading multiple projects
* 7+ years of relational database experience
* Strong analytical and technical skills
* Experience researching technical problems, analyzing data, and recommending potential solutions
* Experience working in a large enterprise environment

Other Desired Qualifications
* Deep understanding of a MicroServices architecture, including professional experience in the design, build, and operations of micro services in a production environment
* Experience in designing data persistence system using both SQL and NoSQL DBMS (MongoDB, OracleDB)
* Good understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology
* Technologies Stack
* o Java 8, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Netflix OSS, Gradle, Unix, Github, 12 Factor principles, Understanding of Platform as a Service, Jenkins, Kafka/ RabbitMQ, Postman & JSON
