Wells Fargos Digital Solutions for Business Customer Experience Design (CXD) group has an opening for an experienced Design Governance Lead focused on ensuring adherence to CXD Design Standards. Digital Solutions for Business (DS4B) supports a broad variety of online and mobile products for Wells Fargos commercial customers, and provides an exciting, collaborative, and fast-paced work environment.

The CXD Design Governance Lead manages the active auditing and reporting of applied design system, patterns and brand standards ensuring our complex financial applications adhere with defined digital policies. Working closely with Product and Technology partners, the candidate is responsible for reviewing project artifacts and code delivery, reporting on the accuracy of implemented design standards, standards variances, and managing exception requests through the broader DS4B Standards Adherence Program. The candidate is additionally responsible for managing a portfolio of concurrent design review timelines supporting Program roadmap plans ensuring that high quality, standards-aligned solutions are delivered in keeping with broader Commercial Banking milestones.

The preferred candidate has a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, UX design processes, and digital application development methodologies. The candidate embodies diplomacy, problem solving and decisiveness to provide structure and facilitates decisions with limited direction. In addition, the CXD Governance Lead will manage multiple projects at a time, and is accountable for communicating project status, providing strong executional leadership, and providing educational and issue resolution pathways to both business and technical partners relating to the implementation of DS4B design system and standards.

Primary responsibilities:

* Act as UX advocate to promote and validate accurate implementation of digital standards, industry best practices and user-centered design principles within the digital product development lifecycle
* Serve as the primary CXD project contact with Commercial Banking Product and Development partners
* Manage and develop user experience design review delivery schedules, effectively shifting priorities and making judgment calls quickly to ensure deadlines are met
* Manage communications per CXD project health (operational reporting, status updates, issues management, escalation management, remediation status) to key stakeholders
* Supervise and govern the creation and quality of UX deliverables as wireframes, screen content and messaging, visual design specifications, and accessibility specifications
* Manage CXD project details as capture key decisions, issues and action items in meeting notes and organize project files on multiple platforms/systems
* Work with CXD Management for project team resource assignments and allocations
* May provide operational oversight to other CXD project team members

Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital customer experience, digital product/program management, digital platforms, or digital consulting demonstrated through work or military experience

* A BS/BA degree or higher
* Financial services industry experience
* Scrum Master certification
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Strong presentation skills
* Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
* Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
* JIRA experience
* Experience using the team collaboration software Confluence
* SharePoint experience

Other Desired Qualifications
* 5+ years of specialized design operations experience (producer, design program management, design operations)
* Experience managing UI/UX projects with common project management methodologies (Agile, Iterative, Waterfall)
* Experience with design thinking processes, facilitating user-centered design (UCD) activities with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
* Experience working with and implementing Design Systems or Design Frameworks
* Experience in quality assurance best practices
* Deep understanding and experience with the Americans with Disabilities Act applied to online user experience
* Strong understanding of HTML/CSS and leading web technologies
* Strong knowledge of common business and collaboration tools
* Microsoft Project experience
* Experience with Adobe Suite, InVision, Sketch

Salary Information
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
