Job Description

Transports material, employees, and equipment over the road and intra and interfacility, by operating various types of material handling equipment and vehicles per appropriate regulations. Prepares, loads, and secures materials and equipment for shipment. Coordinates and dispatches material movement to ensure safe and timely shipment. Receives, transports, stores, sorts, and distributes products, materials, tools, and supplies, including all classes of explosives.

*Starting Wage: $16.91*

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Required Skills:

* Must be able to work any designated shift to include overnight.
* Must currently possess and have two (2) years of experience utilizing a class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with hazardous material endorsement.
* Must meet Department of Transportation Physical requirements and provide proof of passing DOT Physical examination.
* Must have two (2) years of experience operating power lift trucks (forklifts).
* Must have physical warehousing and inventory control experience.
* Must have experience in basic computer applications.
* All qualifications must be met as set forth by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
* Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs, and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquires, and to make entries in reports and records.
* Must pass written test and practical demonstration of skills using a forklift.
* Must be 21 years of age.

Required Education:

* High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).
