JOB DESCRIPTION:
Raytheon has exciting upcoming work supporting the Intelligence Community (IC) and is looking to hire a SENIOR TEST ENGINEER to be based in the Northern, VA area. The Senior Test Engineer is expected to design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment for a variety of globally-distributed networks, systems, applications, and services. Furthermore, the Test Engineer will be also responsible for large scale test automation, monitoring, and reporting. As part of performing these tasks, the Test Engineer is also expected to work closely with the requirements analysts and the programs hardware, software, and network engineering teams.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
6-10 years of related experience are required. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Institution with degree concentration in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics are highly preferred. Candidates with a valid HS education with 4-8 years of additional experience may be considered in place of the degree requirement.
REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:
Candidates must possess a TS/SCI security clearance and a current polygraph.
DESIRED SKILLS:
* Test Engineering (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Sanity Testing, Smoke Testing, Interface Testing, Regression Testing, Beta/Acceptance Testing, Performance Testing, etc.)
* Test Automation
* Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Deployment & Testing
* Familiarity with modern test frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, EggPlant, etc.)
* Distributed App, Service, & Network Testing (on-prem. and cloud)
* Data Analysis for Continuous Monitoring, Remediation, Root Cause Analysis
* Professional Testing Certifications are considered a plus
This position is contingent on contract award and also requires a U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
