As the People Insights Leader, you will establish the data analytics ambitions and roadmap for PPG's newly created People Insights group. Your team will create compelling analytics that support business outcomes. This data will have an immediate impact on PPG Leaders and their ability to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and empower the data analytics team to establish high quality, contextually-relevant analytics/measurement strategies to improve decision-making and business outcomes.
* Develop our people data strategy and roadmap to take us from basic reporting to predictive and prescriptive analytics.
* Create strong partnerships across PPG to align on common definitions and approach with PPGs data strategy, ensuring adherence to all local data privacy laws.
* Grow a forward-thinking team that will achieve strategic objectives; develop their individual skill sets and encourage the team to think and deliver solutions.
* Provide compelling insights to partners to help address their business issues!
* Partner with the Talent Management team and Total Rewards team to enhance our capability to analyze and demystify large sets of data and translate findings in a visually appealing manner that tell narratives and help PPG make better data driven decisions.
* Enable real-time accurate data via dash boards and self-service solutions.
* Increase data accuracy by building out our quality plan and approach. Proactively drive the development and maintenance of strong process controls including but not limited to data maintenance strategy, data validation, and data integrity controls adhere to standards set by PPG.
Qualifications
* 7 or more years conducting quantitative people research, including working with partners to understand and clarify their people data needs
* Ability to interact and present to the C-suite., and communicating analyses to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Expertise in data visualization principles and tools (examples)
* Experience working with HR/organizational people data (e.g. headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics and other people analytics metrics).
* Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, collaboration, decision-making, judgment, coaching and people development skills.
* Personality traits; passion, curios, agility, open to feedback and self-awareness
* 5+ years of experience leading others on analytics projects.
* Understand key business questions, design analytics, and persuasively communicate findings.
* Experience working in a global organization is highly desired.
