Pepsi Northwest Beverages, LLC is a Joint Venture consisting PepsiCo and 12 Pacific Northwest Independent Bottlers. PNB operates two facilities, produces 58MM cases annually servicing the Pacific Northwest through its own its own heavy haul Transport organization. The PNB JV is operated under a Management agreement with PepsiCo and as such is operated as PepsiCo Beverages North America facility.
The Senior Project Engineer (L11) will Provide engineering support to PNB and the PBNA Supply Chain by working on major capital capacity, innovation, and cost management projects as well as infrastructure work and strategic initiatives. The individual in this position will provide capital project management and/or project oversight for major CAPEX approvals at PNB and PBNA manufacturing locations. This position works closely with Operations, Marketing, Package and Product Development, Procurement and external suppliers. This position is responsible for driving standardization and serving as a technical liaison to plants. If applicable, candidate can remain a PepsiCo employee while working for PNB.

Job requirements:
* Develop, coordinate, and complete PNB and PBNA SC projects and initiatives.
* Develop and execute the operations projects with multiple project engineers and managers within the PNB and PBNA SC including engineering, procurement, site teams, and external management consultants
* Responsible for project functions included but not limited to Project Management, Site Management, Project Control Management, Engineering Management, Procurement, etc. are all coordinated and properly staffed to meet the project(s)goals
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout the project(s)
* Coordinate with regional and site management on status, significant trends and changes of approved projects
* Ensure safety and QA/QC programs are established by all parties and maintained and conduct reviews of detailed design drawing and specifications.
* Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedule.
* Participate in and lead risk assessments and actively manage the risks of the projects and the business.
* Preparing the engineering budget, project schedules and project control budgets for mechanical projects.
* Prepare and submit reports on the progress and status of the project
* Perform other project engineering and project management related duties

Qualifications/Requirements

Job qualifications:

* BS Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
* Minimum of 12 years of engineering experience in a high-speed bottling manufacturing environment.
* Strong track record of successfully completed projects in the industry
* Supply Chain functional experience required.
* Solid understanding about Capital Appropriation Request (CAR) processes.
* Individual project CAR expenditure experience should be in excess of $5.0MM.
* Ability to travel; individual can expect to be out of the office up to 50% of the time.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Proven capital project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* High proficiency in negotiating with vendors, contractors and consultants.
* Proven leadership in troubleshooting/problem solving in the manufacturing environment.
* Solid understanding of finance, product/project cost tracking and reporting.
* Self-motivated, results & action oriented.
* Strong team building skills; able to manage and lead cross-functional teams.
* Proven experience in managing direct reports, exempt and non-exempt.
* Computer skills to include proficiency with computer maintenance management systems, reporting/tracking software, Excel, Microsoft Project, etc.
* Must be able to frequently lift/ carry up to 60 pounds, climb, stand, walk, crouch, squat, bend and kneel continually over a 10-12 hour period
* Must be able to work in a high-speed, team-oriented, deadline driven, high performance demand manufacturing environment
* Must follow and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety standards including wearing proper protective equipment, practicing personal hygiene, and obeying safety practices
* Must pass the pre-employment drug screen and background check
