Packaging Operator needs to be able to run all packaging equipment including fillers and case packers. Must be capable of obtaining a forklift license. Must be able to work at least 12 hours a day and up to 7 days a week when necessary. Must be able work productively without direct supervision and be willing to flow-to-work to assist the packaging team. Dependable, safety conscious and able to work well with others. Maintain an acceptable standard of output and quality. Be able to troubleshoot, discover problem areas quickly, make minor adjustments to the equipment in order to maintain efficiency and quality. Log equipment downtime and system line changeover using Zarpac. Observe and report any maor equipment or quality issues to on-shift supervision. Must comply with all department rules. (Safety, GMP's, Sanitation and Housekeeping).
High School Diploma or GED. Must comply with all department rules. Safety, GMP's, Sanitation and Housekeeping rules. Required to wear hairnets and steel toe boots and any other required PPE in the performance of the work.
