Our Global Animal Health Manufacturing IT team operates as a business partner proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities for our animal health manufacturing division. The IT Portfolio & Digital Products Delivery Lead will from be part of the global animal health manufacturing digital transformation IT team, focused on transforming our manufacturing operations through innovation and adoption of new digital technologies. The IT Portfolio & Digital Products Delivery Lead will be responsible for managing a world- wide portfolio of Digital products ensuring they are delivered to the highest standard & will be responsible for the overall management of the multi- year digital portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for the end to end implementation of new IT digital products in-line with business needs:
* Responsible for line management of technical product line leads, 5 direct reports across three countries (Prague, UK & US).
* Responsible for the line management of external IT delivery resources and partners (30-50 individuals)
* Management & delivery of multi- year Global Animal Health Manufacturing IT digital portfolio, $30-$50m total portfolio spend. Including purchasing of hardware/software, licensing & professional services.
* Provide technical expertise to implement and integrate new and existing systems and technologies
* Will deliver complex projects against tight timelines in agile MVP approach
* Responsible for global delivery of products to all 28 Global Animal Health Manufacturing sites worldwide
* Will work on delivery of multiple IT products simultaneously ensuring that full portfolio is on track to deliver various digital products to agreed timelines.
* Will join the Dig-Innovate leadership team as a senior leader and will be expected to contribute own thoughts and opinions
* Responsible in identifying and evaluating technology partners whom have proven, relevant experience in the manufacturing space along with ensuring our Company gets an optimal price for fiscal responsibility
Maintenance and development of existing IT products:
* Participate in change management processes working with key stakeholders to deliver continuous improvement
* Development and delivery of training packages to business users
* Opportunity to work in an agile environment to deliver business demands and drive business value
* Delivering projects throughout different phases of the system development lifecycle
Maintain compliance to our Companys Corporate and Regulatory guidelines for IT systems:
* Ensuring all necessary training is completed and documented successfully
* Application of our Companys specific System Development Life Cycle to systems
* Production of accompanying documentation for the implementation of new systems
* Adherence to our Companys Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in everything you do
Technical Specifications
* Bachelors degree in STEM discipline (or equivalent qualification)
* 5-10 years IT project management/service delivery experience in large organizations
* Experience in managing internal/external delivery teams
* Experience in purchasing hardware/software, licensing & IT professional services
* 1-3 years previous experience working in life sciences or healthcare industry
* Experience in putting forth compelling business cases for funding and for future technology investment
* Previous experience working for world leading technology company is desirable but not essential
