Description:
This position has direct responsibility for managing execution of technical, schedule, and cost performance of the Platform Integration & Test Branch for a large program within the Air Dominance Line of Business. The Branch includes three Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) that coordinate, support, and execute Development Testing, Operational Testing, and integration of Threshold and Objective level platforms for this new weapon system development effort. Interfacing will be required with other program branches (Production, SEIT, Logistics & Sustainment Engineering, and Subsystem Development) to ensure that all program objectives are being equally managed and prioritized. This role requires a high level of coordination with external stakeholders to include Government and Platform counterparts. This position will report to the ADWS Development Program Director and will reside in Orlando, FL.
Basic Qualifications:
Prior Management experience leading development and test efforts
Strong Earned Value Management background
Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary as this role will frequently brief at the O-6, Director, and Vice President level
Must be able to work on-site and support periodic travel to test locations
Desired Skills:
Extensive experience with integrating and testing technologies on Platforms
Track record of successful management of missile programs
