Description:
Designs, develops and implements optical testing methods and test equipment for E/O sub-assembly tests on ATP. Investigates optical requirements and Line of Sight specifications. Generates Concept and Design reviews for approval, prior to formalizing new test station designs and packaging. Establishes technical and functional specifications. Takes full responsibility of the entire test development task from infancy through, procurement, fabrication, integration and validation into a production environment. E/O or Optical Engineer with at least 10 yearss experience. Electrical /Optical design and test development background required . Extensive background in the setup and use of 1.06 and 3.39 nm Wavelength Interferometers. Knowledgeable in creating and revising test procedures and calibration procedures for optical table setups and UUT alignments.

Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Test Equipment and Test Methodologies
-Proficient with National Instruments: LabView, Lab Windows CVI or TestStand.
- Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
-Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
Demonstrated experience with test equipment processes of documentation; materials procurement; and fabrication.
Experience with work tracking data base systems for job input.
