This role is for a large technology client working on data center construction projects in Atlanta, GA.
This is not a remote role.
JOB SUMMARY
Construction Safety Facilitator responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Monitor and advise on client EHS requirements and applicable EHS references of the Scope of Work(SOW), regulatory requirements are implemented and followed onsite
* Work with and advise the contractor in identification and implementation of corrective actions for identified deficiencies or issues.
* Interface and support the construction management team at site by delivering current, accurate and timely data on Contractor EHS performance, including: Leading and Lagging Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), trends, incident management, environmental monitoring, EHS metrics and other key information that enable DC construction management to make informed timely decisions.
* Participate/attend essential meetings not limited to GC all hands, Stand downs, Orientations,Safety Committee, EHS Leads,Activity Briefing, Coordination Meeting etc..
* Ensure adequate site safety walks are conducted as needed with the Contractor management representative and the Owners PM/team.
* Evaluate the completeness and effectiveness of the Contractors hazard assessments (RAMS, JHAs, ARTs, PTPs, etc.).
* Create, validate and communicate lessons learned via Significant Events(SE) and Significant Potential Events(SPE) with Client's construction EHS team and trade partners.
* For Moves Adds Changes Utilities and Substations (MARCUS) works post Facility Ready
* Understand and ensure operational GSafe EHS requirements are adhered to.
* Maintain and foster relations with the Client Operations Teams.
* Support other construction projects/activities according to the program EHS requirements.
* Attend and facilitate client specific training, campaign and initiatives as requested.
* Support global construction EHS team in developing, reviewing and executing global programs and initiatives.
* Conduct topic specific focused field audit, document verification and personal interviews as needed.
* May need to travel to multiple project locations (Country, State, City etc..) as needed to execute their assigned role
* Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.
Manages 3rd party project delivery resources/team. Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating team members.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study. Minimum four years of related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.
