Job Description:

The Electronic Product development team seeks a quantitative developer with a strong programming background to work on our front office strategy development team. The candidate will interact with a variety of stakeholders, and leverage in house quantitative research & technology to deliver low latency trading products for our Equity Smart Order Router. The role may also evolve into working on various equity execution strategies on our existing algorithmic platform.

Required Qualifications

* Fully proficient in low latency programming techniques in C/C++
* Knowledge of equity market micro structure & familiarity with algorithmic trading
* Comfortable working independently on multiple projects, platforms and with different stakeholders across the firm

Desired Qualifications

* Working knowledge of Java
* Working knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Perl, while not required is a plus
* Exposure to routing or high frequency market making strategies in equities is a big plus
* Prior experience with techniques like lock free programming, kernel bypass technologies, binary protocols
