Responsibilities
* Develop detail test plan and scripts to validate operation and functionality of semiconductor equipment,
* Update and expand existing test scripts, debug scripts by testing for and fixing errors,
* Assist in revising, developing and validating test scripts on manufacturing tools.
* Travel to customer site( local and international) to perform Tier1 test validation
* May work from limited or no documentation. Investigate/compile data and documents and recommend changes to enhance modular testing capability,
* Interface with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements
* Manage, create and maintain multiple tool simulators used for test script creation and testing.
Requirements
* Experience working on semiconductor equipment either in manufacturing or in field/technical service.
* Conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures for semiconductor equipment testing.
* Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum and process testing.
* Experience using Mayan application for equipment/module testing.
* Functional understanding of test simulation - computer hardware and network setup.
* Good programming knowledge for creating hardware/subassembly test plans.
* General knowledge of manufacturing process and change management
* Ability to solve problems and analyze information to make decision.
* Ability to work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
* Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and teams.
* Strong independent work ethic.
* Willingness to travel internationally to customer side ( approximately 20%)
