The Opportunity
The Select Trading Specialist is responsible for providing exclusive client support to our most valuable and demanding client base with whom have a wide array of Investment Objectives. This spectrum of support can cross the facets of passive-active trading, complex options strategies, managed portfolio products, along with other Ally Financial product offerings. When working with clients the Sr. Select Trading Specialist will focus on providing white-glove level ownership and follow-up to all client stated needs and ask probing questions to identify other unstated needs and match client up to Ally solutions as needed.
The Work Itself
* Provide one-contact resolution to our High Net Worth Select clients via Phone, Chat, E-Mail by owning the issue and following up when necessary.
* Provide outstanding customer service in a professional manner by focusing on client stated and unstated needs and matching those needs to solutions through a relationship-based approach.
* Assist clients with a wide array of inquiries which may not be limited to operations issues (new accounts, transfers), trading (margin, options, buying power, etc.), and Managed Investment Products.
* Identify, address, and problem-solve around areas that put the firm at risk -- expense, regulatory, and reputational.
* Understand, comply, maintain, and reinforce regulatory and firm policies and procedures.
* Conduct outbound contact to Select clients to reinforce relationships and pro-actively support the client with any needs they have (as needed).
* Collaborate in coaching sessions with the manager to improve key performance metrics such as Client Satisfaction, Net Promoter, and channel specific metrics -- i.e. AHT, ACW, etc.
* Identify areas to improve operational efficiencies, product enhancements, and work with management and business partners for solutions.
The Skills You Bring
* FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 66 (63&65 or willingness to attain Series 66 within 120 days)
* 2+ years of prior experience supporting clients with Investment Accounts and Trading
* A broad intermediate to advanced understanding of markets, active/passive trading, managed portfolio products, and the tools and platforms for each.
* A keen understanding of fiduciary responsibility and suitability when discussing product options or supporting clients with managed products.
* Knowledge of broader financial services products offered by Ally Financial and the ability to support and refer clients to these offerings (Lending, Deposits, Mortgage, etc) should there be a need for such a product.
* Strong critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills to quickly diagnose customer issues and translate needs into solutions.
* Ability to multi-task across contact channels -- phone, chat, and e-mail.
* Able to work in a high-pressure environment with strict SLA's and deadlines.
* Detail and results-oriented and able to prioritize tasks in a multi-task environment.
* Strong communicator who can effectively process constructive feedback while always keeping the corporate and end-user goals in mind.
* Excellent oral and written communication with an emphasis on grammar and a strong desire to provide an exceptional customer experience.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience.
