Job Description
A Strategic Account Manager is deeply involved in leading a few strategic accounts with distributed, national portfolios based in our technology and manufacturing industry group We are seeing growth in several sectors of our business, including Data Centers, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, and Transportation.
Key responsibilities:
* Leading successful service delivery and growth of designated accounts.
* Provides customer with consultative leadership that provides them with the best possible service experience.
* Communicating with Key Customer Management.
* Supports Transition activities, and monitors roll-out schedules, targets and plans.
* Ensuring that all standardization programs have been set and are being utilized.
* Coordinating all billing and accounting requirements relative to the Customer, and in conjunction with ABMs standards.
* Actively monitor designated reporting to ensure accuracy and optimal financial performance.
* Actively monitor the accounts receivable activity of the account ensuring process compliance, accuracy and timeliness.
* Ensuring that all contract terms and requirements are being upheld by all stakeholders.
* Following up and insuring problems and/or issues are resolved via work order management.
* This position requires 20% to 50% travel.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelors degree in Business or related area preferred.
* Strong and verifiable track record of success focused on the successful delivery of services required.
* Must have a minimum five (5) years experience, in a relevant role or job area.
* Experience in working directly with key stakeholders including executive management personnel within customers required.
* 3 years of experience in facility services, or a closely related field is required.
* Strong presentation skills and communication.
* Build relationships with existing clients to maintain present sales and to facilitate add-on business and services.
* Represent Company at local or regional conferences or at National meetings and trade organizations.
* Must have the ability to solve problems quickly as well as manage multiple accounts over a large geographic area.
