About This Role:

Assemble various types of manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and tooling from mechanical and electrical drawings. Test, debug, and modify equipment to customer specifications.

Your Responsibilities Include:

* Assemble complex mechanical assemblies. Ability to make or modify parts as needed.
* Wire complex electrical panels, physical mounting of devices, etc.
* Debug assembled and existing equipment, troubleshoot machine issues to device/component level, manage I/O checkout.
* Participate in equipment design, make and document design recommendations during machine assembly.
* Estimate equipment assembly time, create schedule and measure schedule adherence.
* Manage rebuild and repair jobs as needed.
* Track and charge labor hours, parts, supplies, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

* AA degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 10+ years experience.
* Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and mechanical drawings.
* Self-directed; ability to manage and own machine assembly process.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Full understanding of machine design and assembly process. Ability to make recommendations to electrical and mechanical designs.
* Experience with medical device business and quality systems and processes.
* Ability to identify and acquire necessary supplies, materials, equipment, and tools for specific projects.
